Sharon Tendler must have been desperate, or just really liked dolphins and hated men. Either way, Sharon, 41, asked the love of her life, a dolphin, for his fin in marriage.
Sharon, a British tourist, had been visiting her dolphin fiancé two or three times a year for 15 years in Israel.
"The peace and tranquility under water, and his love, would calm me down," she said.
Because the dolphin has not yet mastered the English language, his trainer responded for him: “Yes, he will marry you.”
The dolphin, dazed and confused, watched Sharon show up in a large white dress one day and get all emotional.
Dolphin dude was getting hitched -- like it or not.
And so a wedding ceremony was conducted; Sharon kissed the dolphin; and the spectators applauded with great enthusiasm.
The dolphin then looked up and made some dolphin noises.
"I'm the happiest girl on earth," the happy bride expained. “I made a dream come true.”
The dolphin, still not knowing what in the hell was going on, ate some squid, squirted his new bride with water, and then swam the hell away.
