Car Thief Drives Himself to Jail

Darrell Wayne Morton, of Tampa, Florida, decided it was time for a new car; so he did what anyone in need of a new car would do – he stole one.

But Darrell apparently forgot that stealing stuff was against the law, so when the police spotted him, he kind of panicked and started a “pursuit.”

But Darrell, ever-cautious with his new car, did not go too fast because he did not want to dent his new ride. So this was a slow motion type of pursuit.

Then, suddenly, Darrell began feeling pangs of guilt about what he had done, so he drove himself, in his spiffy new car, to the local jail. (It seems Darrell had been there a few times before and did not need directions.)

He then got out and surrendered, deciding that he really did not need a new set of wheels after all.
